Self-Portrait

"This is my dog.  There are many like her, but this one is mine.  My dog is my best friend."  This was
a fun project using Photoshop, in which I used my "best friend's" face as my own.  This photo of myself is a "selfie" that I took during army training at the Yakima Training Center a few years ago.

New Media in Art

This book by Michael Rush is talking about how art has evolved from the canvas into digital photography.  Rush references Edward Muybridge's work in which he used several cameras to capture a horse running see a continuous movement out of the photographs.  Much of Muybridge's work has been composed with multiple cameras because this is type of art he has decided to focus on.
